I’m Kelly, and along with my two dogs Willow and Raven, I’d love to welcome you (and your waggy-tailed companion!) to our five-star luxury lodges perched above the sea in beautiful Stonehaven, Scotland.

At Dalriada, we believe your dog deserves a holiday just as much as you do. That’s why six of our lodges are fully dog-friendly – with everything you and your pup need for a relaxing, adventure-filled stay by the coast.

What makes Dalriada dog-friendly?

We’ve welcomed hundreds of happy dogs (and their equally happy humans!) over the years – and it’s easy to see why tails start wagging the moment they arrive:

• Private outdoor patio – for morning sniffs, sunny snoozes and stargazing beside their favourite human.
• Clifftop walks from the doorstep – no need to jump in the car; explore the coastal path straight from your lodge.
• Dog-friendly beaches nearby – paws in the sand and sea breezes in the fur.
• Welcome goodies – bowls, biodegradable poo bags and treats are waiting on arrival.
• Easy-to-clean floors and spacious living – plenty of room to stretch out after a busy day exploring.

Meet our resident experts: Willow & Raven

Willow and Raven are my two labs and the unofficial heads of Guest Relations here at Dalriada. They're always sniffing out new adventures, testing the best walkies and giving the lodges a thorough nap-ability review.
You’ll often see their friendly faces on our social media – and they’re always happy to share their favourite local spots, from the best stick-throwing beaches to dog-friendly cafés nearby.

Designed for people and pets

Our lodges are peaceful, private, and stylish – with everything from underfloor heating to rain showers, Hypnos beds and well-equipped kitchens. But they’re also practical for pet owners:

• Hard floors and rugs that can be removed
• Patio doors for easy garden access
• Dog-wash gear available for post-beach clean-ups
• Info on nearby vets and pet shops

Some helpful info before you book

• We welcome up to two well-behaved dogs per lodge (please contact us if you’d like to bring more).
• Dogs mustn’t be left alone in the lodge – but we can suggest lovely local dog sitters if you’d like a human-only outing.
• Please bring your dog’s own bed if you can – it helps them settle in and feel right at home.
