We have winners in our #holsfordogs competition – and what pawsome winners they are! Top dogs Bob and Billy are emotional support animals, providing care for their owner, Amanda.

We had lots of entries from all over the country and I was so impressed with all the hard-working dogs with jobs out there. They all do so much to help their owners and their communities…I think they should all take a bow (wow).

I’m very excited to welcome Bob and Billy all the way from Halifax in West Yorkshire – in fact, you could say that I’m like a dog with two tails. I’ll be able to show them all my favourite walks, where the best sun traps are for lounging and maybe even my secret treat stash!

I always get very excited to see fellow pooches arriving for their holidays because I know what a lovely time they are going to have exploring the area and spending time with the rest of their pack.

Although the #holsfordogs competition was all about recognising the work of dogs with jobs – service dogs, farm dogs, police dogs and all the canines in between – I know that all dogs work very hard, making sure their owners are loved and cared for.

I very much hope that all of you will get rewarded with a lovely break away…and I hope even more that it’s here with us at Dalriada.
